And I’m surprised I never noticed in the book, but WHY DOES NO ONE OTHER THAN KATNISS AND PEETA HAVE A LAST NAME?
Caesar Flickerman’s all like, “CATO!”, “CLOVE!”, “MARVEL!” and even Rue is just…RUE.
THEN HE ANNOUNCES KATNISS AND IT’S ALL “KATNISS EVERDEEN!” SO…Why…why…
i think it’s just another point to katniss’ lazy narration and lack of perception. she barely remembers half of the tributes’ names. i mean, she doesn’t even remember foxface’s actual name - EVEN AFTER RE-WATCHING THE REAPINGS AND INTERVIEW!
ok so i just want clear this up for the people who still haven’t gotten it yet: the glamour us shoot is not of katniss everdeen, it’s of jennifer lawrence. everything from the clothes to the hair colour to the way the interview is conducted is about jennifer not katniss. making her pose with a bow and arrow is meant to be a little nod towards the character in her upcoming movie. just because jennifer is playing katniss it doesn’t suddenly make her katniss and that everything she does/chooses to do must be analyzed and compared to whether its what katniss would do.

And of course, I am going to be that nagging old authority figure. So let’s lay down some of the ground rules, shall we?
- I am not trying to be greedy, I do not want you to follow me if you don’t want to, but in order to win this you must be following me, because this giveaway is for my followers, to show them how much I appreciate them.
- You can only reblog and/or like up 3 three times, I will be checking.
- I will be shipping to anywhere in the world, doesn’t matter where you are. But you must be comfortable giving me your address.
- I will announce the winner on March 23rd 2012 (after I see the movie of course) and if they don’t respond within 24 hours I will be giving the prizes to a different lucky follower.
